Director/Owner, Nikki Goldman Stroh is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience providing Art and Play Therapy to diverse children and youth aged 3-19. Nikki began her training at Fanshawe College where she completed a diploma in photography. Later she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Western Ontario; and then a post-graduate diploma in Art therapy from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Over the years Nikki has taken additional training in psychology, counselling techniques and play therapy at the George Brown College School of Early Childhood Education and the Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health (formally Hincks-Delcrest). Nikki has spent the last several years facilitating community based art programs at various schools, community centres, libraries and private homes across the GTA. In addition, she facilitates play therapy groups at Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Offices. Nikki has taken several courses in baking and cake decorating through the Wilton certification program. She has been featured in several magazines and conducted numerous talks on the importance of creativity in enhancing holistic well-being.
Manager/Owner, Mike Stroh is a passionate mental health advocate, speaker and educator. He has earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Concordia and is completing his Masters in Counseling Psychology. Mike is the founder of Starts with Me a multifaceted social enterprise aimed at making a difference in the lives of children and youth living with mental health and substance use issues. Mike is an experienced public speaker and facilitator, having provided numerous interactive presentations and workshops to diverse audiences in the community and in the private sector. He has several years of experience in planning family-friendly events and presentations. Mike has completed intensive coursework in mindfulness meditation and deep breathing which he incorporates into his work at Seasons. Mike credits becoming a father with his desire to support the growth and development of children and youth. He enjoys the process of developing relationships with others.
