Mother’s Day Baskets

Wondering how to make this Mother’s Day special? We can help you out! We’ve put together a basket of handmade things from local artists! The basket starts with a beautiful pot of dried lavender and then there is multiple add on options for your baskets! You can choose from the list below! Or purchase the whole basket for $48.00 (plus HST). Baskets come wrapped up in cellophane. If you would like to order a basket please email us today – all orders for Mother’s Day baskets must be received by Wednesday, May 6th. Masks are made out of cotton, 3 layers with an opening for an additional filter.

Are you stuck at home with a toddler? We have plenty of experience hanging with these small people – here are some scheduling and art suggestions for trying to maintain your sanity. Babies and toddlers like routine, their world is so unpredictable so providing them with some sort of routine helps them to know what is coming next. #COVID19JEDI

It’s ok to go dark sometimes…it’s totally ok to NOT BE OK right now. Say this sometimes to yourself, it can be helpful. “I AM NOT OK RIGHT NOW”. I took a class recently – on Mindful Self-Compassion and there’s a theory about self-compassion being composed of 3 basic things – mindfulness, self-kindness and common humanity. I took this class with the amazing Dr.Heidi Walk and it uses the Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook. I’ll break down the 3 parts, if you’re new to this theory.  Kindness:  So be “NOT OK” and give yourself a fucking hug. Tell yourself what a friend would tell you. Online Therapy

If you’re struggling at the moment to keep your mental health in a good state, you’re not alone. From our personal experience, we learn best through other people’s strength, experience and hope. We’re offering online therapy sessions for kids, teens and adults. 5 people maximum per group. Children need to be 8 years and older and we will be doing Art Therapy in children/teen groups. Groups are run by: Nikki Goldman Stroh – a Registered Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the field. Read more about her training here. We’re also aware lots of us are struggling financially. For every online group we’re hosting we’re offering one free group to those who can’t afford therapy. We all need help at the moment…so please don’t hesitate to contact us regardless of your financial position. In each group, there are some ground rules.
